What time of day do you make your best decisions?

Are you an early morning person? Or do you need a few hours to get firing on all cylinders every day? Some people are night owls and actually do their best work late at night. We all have decisions we have to make in our lives that are more important than others. Identifying what time of day you do make your best decisions is a key strategy to making the best decisions for your business and your life. You will never have regrets about your decisions if you plan the time to make your biggest decisions thoughtfully and at a time when you are not distracted or fatigued.

In this week's 2 minute video, Kathy tells you about why it is important to identify your own Peak Performance time of day because THAT is when you need to set aside time every day to make your best decisions. If you know that you get tired of making decisions all day, physically fatigued and tend to make poor decisions at the end of day - decide right now that you will NOT make strategic decisions for your business or your career at that time of day. What time of day do you make your best decisions? Schedule that time routinely into your work days. Make it easier on yourself to make good decisions for your business and career. Please don't wait until you are harried and worn out to make tough decisions.

If you feel energized, positive and refreshed in the early mornings, then that is your personal Peak Performance Time of Day! Once you know your own personal Peak Performance time of day-  you should be making all your tough decisions for your work or your home life at that time.

When you mind is clear, you have energy and you are not distracted by all the thousands of little things that fill your mind every day- THAT is when you need to make your most strategic decisions for your business and your life. It's different for everyone, so it's critical that you identify your own personal peak performance time of day and make it part of you routine to set aside that time to think about your toughest, most important, strategic decisions at that time.

We all know we don't make good, sound decisions when we are tired, distracted and rushed. Therefore, it's imperative you find the time of day when you experience the opposite of that and make all your important decisions during THAT time.

This needs to become part of your daily routine. Figure out when you feel physically and mentally the sharpest, the most focused and set aside 30 minutes during that time, every day, for no interruptions. Now sit quietly and think about  your biggest or toughest decisions for your business and your life. You will come up with better decisions and feel good about your decisions when you know you have dedicated serious, thoughtful time to those decisions.

Please share this video with any peer, friend or colleague who is struggling with a tough decision. They will appreciate that you are thinking of them. AND that you have a solution! Thank you so much.

Make it a great day!
