How to hire and pay for outsourcing or experts

Do you value your time? Do you want to work less? Do you want to know how Tim Ferriss built his 4 hour work week empire? Take stuff offyour plate. Don't put more stuff on your 24/7 plate. Be more productive by focusing on one thing at a time and onlydo the tasks that onlyyou can do really well. Meaning: Play to your strengths and hire out the rest.

Figure out what you do really well in your profession or your business- define your skill that no one else can do better, faster, smarter. Now-outsource everything else. There are people who are experts in their field and there are people who are proficient (fast) at what they do for a living. Hire them. There are websites devoted to professional spets who will do freelance tasks for you for a flat fee- Fivrr and Elance are just two examples. Taskrabbit (available in certain cities) is devoted to outsourcing household errands and skilled tasks to trusted people in your community. You are being smart and cost effective when you hire people to do tasks for less than your own hourly rate.

How can you afford to pay for this service? Watch this short video and Kathy will tell you how to hire and pay for outsourcing or experts in your personal or professional life. You have to know what your time is worth. You must have a clear understanding of what your priorities are in your life right now-no judgements. At different times in our lives time is more important to us and sometimes we are able to focus on generating revenue. In either case you must define what it is that is most important to you and do a cost/benefit analysis with your time and money.

If you can hire out someone who costs less per hour than you earn- then it is cost effective for you to outsource that task so you can spend your time generating income.

If you can be generating revenue for your business or your career rather than performing a certain household task or tedious business activity- it is cost effective for you to outsource it so you can spend your time generating revenue rather than spending your valuable time on that task that someone else can do faster, cheaper, better than you.

If you find a task time consuming, energy draining and tedious- you need to outsource that task. It does not play to your strength and therefore it is not beneficial for you in any way for you to be spending your limited time and energy doing it.

You must renew your energy for your business and career at the end of every day so you get reinvigorated with new ideas and productive energy for the next day. If you have household chores and tasks that prevent you from sleeping, resting and enjoying yourself each day- you need to figure out how to leverage your income and make a time saving, energy renewing decision to hire out help.

Work less, be more productive when you work and you can sustain your creativity and revenue generating activities.

Make more money by doing less.
